Gideon got his first series of shots/immunizations this past Monday at his 2-month well check. It was so painful seeing him cry, but I'm sure it hurt him more than it hurt me. We realized that he has never felt pain before so this was something completely different for him. He also caught a slight fever from the shots, but one small dose of Tylenol took it away. I was so worried about him all night. Poor little guy. I'm not looking forward to his next series of shots.
Here are the stats at 2 months:
Weight: 13 pounds, 2.4 ounces (81%)...big boy!
Length: 22.25 inches (23%)
Head circumference: 15.75 inches (49%)

oh, poor gideon! okay, so i have to ask...did he not get circumcised? lucas had the procedure done when he was only 1 or 2 days old (can't remember) and i'm SURE that was painful. :( you guys look like you're enjoying parenthood! gideon is CUTE!
he IS circumcised...got that done when he was 2 days old. and, he wasn't in pain at all. when he came back to us (parents not allowed in the circumcision room), he was asleep and didn't cry one bit. who knows how hard he cried during the procedure though.
